Jennifer Tilly was conceived in Los Angeles on 16 September 1958 under very poor conditions. Her mother was teacher at a local school and was an unremarkable actor, and her father sold automobiles. Jennifer, the second of four kids in her family, frequently attended her mother for her performances at the theater, and was much impressed by her. Jennifer's parents split at the age of 5 years older. Jennifer was a resident of British Columbia for most of her life following the divorce of her mother, along with the remaining four kids moved to the province. Jennifer did not attend school however, as a child she was a talented artist. Her time at Canadian schools resulted in her becoming often the target of bullying. When her enthusiasm for theatre was fading as she entered high school, she began participating in plays with her mother. The mother of all her children to discover an interest in the arts. Then, she began to take action.
